Workplace Law has published a briefing document about how effectively recruitment agencies conduct pre-employment screening of staff for their clients. The paper, written jointly by Norman Mortell (Agenda Security Services) and Michael Stephens (Medical Research Council), was the result of two audits of agencies conducted in 2010 and 2012 which indicated that agencies did not understand the security and background check requirements of the client.
