Agenda Screening Services are proud to announce that they have been shortlisted for the National Family Business Awards. Nominated within the best business to work for, the business with the big heart and the family business of the year categories, Agenda are a strong contender in the awards which will be presented on July 14th.

Agenda Screening Services is a family owned business with ownership shared equally between a husband and wife team. A limited company it began in 1996 in the back room of the family home. Now celebrating its 21st year in business, Agenda has gone from strength to strength with staff numbers rising considerably over its lifetime to over 160 staff at this moment. It has two key strategic goals: to double in size by 2020 and to be a Great Place to Work which is underpinned by its core values of Respect, Reputation and Responsibility.

Agenda Screening Services delivers professional background screening and Criminal Record Checks – their Screening team now conduct over 100,000 checks locally, nationally and across the globe each year.

Agenda’s personal approach puts the customer and candidate at the centre of everything. They work closely with clients to fully understand their requirements and support their needs by combining the right screening processes and procedures with the right personnel, training and support.

Being a family-owned business has meant that the owners have been able to reinvest in the business and its people, to provide not only a professional and friendly working environment but also to enable Agenda to compete and win contracts from national and international organisations including Blue Chip companies and Government organisations.

As an accredited Investor in People, Agenda offers many staff perks to its employees; an annual training bank account is given to all members of staff, staff get a day off for their Birthday each year, the annual charity is chosen by staff vote and fundraising days (such as dress down days, bake sales, raffles etc) are organised throughout the year to support this. A monthly Lunch and Learn session is also offered to all staff and an Ideas Forum is open to all suggestions to push further growth in the business.
